The US denies endorsing Israel’s Al-Shifa Hospital raid amid ongoing search, rejecting Hamas accusations. Israeli forces claim Hamas used the hospital for military purposes, releasing video evidence of alleged weapons discovery.
While Qatar pursues a ceasefire deal, the US remains tight-lipped on prior knowledge of the attack. Israel asserts Al-Shifa housed a Hamas command center, backing the claim with intelligence assessments.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, Israeli military spokesperson, reports findings of weapons and combat gear within the hospital complex, releasing video evidence.
The military intensifies its search, alleging Hamas utilized the hospital for terror activities. No mention is made of tunnel discoveries, although it was previously asserted that Hamas constructed tunnels beneath the hospital.
Qatari mediators reportedly work on a deal for a ceasefire, involving the release of around 50 civilian hostages from Gaza. While Hamas agrees to the general outlines, Israel continues negotiations.
The Gaza Health Ministry reports over 11,200 Palestinian deaths, with women and minors comprising two-thirds of casualties.
Approximately 2,700 individuals are missing since the conflict’s onset, following a Hamas incursion into Israeli territory on October 7.
The incursion resulted in 1,200 deaths and over 240 hostages taken to Gaza. The situation remains complex, with conflicting narratives and ongoing diplomatic efforts for a resolution.
