Teen in Andhra Pradesh dies in fiery attack by classmate

After being set on fire, the victim’s screams for help prompted locals to rush to his aid, extinguishing the flames and swiftly transporting him to the hospital. Despite receiving medical treatment, he tragically succumbed to his severe burn injuries.

In a horrific incident in Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla district, a teenage student named Uppala Amarnath, studying in Class 10, was allegedly burnt alive by his classmates.

The incident took place early in the morning when Amarnath was heading to his tuition classes around 7 am. He was attacked by his classmate Venkateshwar Reddy and others, who reportedly poured petrol on him and set him on fire.

Amarnath’s agonizing screams for help caught the attention of locals, who promptly intervened. They extinguished the flames and rushed him to the hospital due to the severity of his burn injuries.

Tragically, Amarnath succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital. The police are investigating the incident.

A 15-year-old boy named Amarnath was discovered with burn injuries in the fields of Uppalavaripalem. Tragically, he passed away while being transported to the hospital.

Amarnath, who was on his way to tuition at the time, provided a statement to the police naming three individuals, including Venkateshwar Reddy, as his attackers.

The police have apprehended the suspects and are currently conducting an investigation to determine the motive behind the assault.

A case has been registered, and the body of the deceased has been sent for an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
