Despite a setback in the opening match against Pakistan, where he fell cheaply, Sharma displayed resilience and determination. Sharma’s turning point came in the second group stage match against Nepal, where he led from the front and scored a match-winning fifty, guiding India to a comfortable victory. His unbeaten 74 off just 59 deliveries played a pivotal role in sealing the win for his team.
