Nicholas Pooran, the wicketkeeper for Lucknow Super Giants, has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance under the leadership of KL Rahul in IPL 2023, stating that they have had a decent start. Pooran also mentioned that his experience with Lucknow has been amazing thus far.
He shared that he is pleased to make a contribution to the team’s success, particularly highlighting the two wins they secured at home. Notably, Pooran’s signing with Lucknow Super Giants during the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi on Friday for a whopping Rs 16 crore has made him the most expensive wicketkeeper in the history of IPL auctions.

LSG captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field in the IPL 2023 clash at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both teams made some changes to their playing XI, with Mark Wood returning for LSG and Wayne Parnell being included in RCB’s lineup to strengthen their bowling attack.
