Chhattisgarh: Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi’s convoy attacked by Naxals in Bijapur

According to sources, on Tuesday, Naxals attacked the convoy of Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi and his supporters in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. The attack occurred while they were returning from a public gathering.
During the return from a public gathering, Naxalites also targeted the vehicle of district panchayat official Parvati Kashyap, which was part of Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi’s convoy. The incident occurred in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, as per sources.
As per reports, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
Chhattisgarh has witnessed several incidents of Naxals targeting political leaders, including MLAs, in the past.
The recent attack on Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi’s convoy in Bijapur district is another such instance.
