JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Amazon Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our valued Amazon customers. This position requires an action-oriented and flexible problem-solver who can assist customers with order expediting and post-sales problem resolution. You will primarily communicate with customers through mail, chat, and phone, utilizing various software tools to navigate customer accounts, research policies, and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers
- Strong documentation skills
- Good comprehension skills to understand customer issues
- Ability to concentrate and follow customer issues to resolution without distraction
- Proficient composition skills to provide grammatically correct and concise written responses
- Ability to work effectively in both team and independent environments
Computer Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in using desktop computer systems
- Familiarity with Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer
- Excellent typing skills
- Understanding of the Internet, Amazon.com website, and competitor websites
- Ability to navigate websites successfully
- Proficient knowledge of email applications
- Ability to learn using various media
- Adaptability to changes in the work environment
Customer Focus:
- Excellent customer service skills, maintaining focus on customer issues in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with a diverse customer base
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation skills
- Ownership mindset to resolve challenging customer issues, escalating when necessary
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Regular and reliable attendance, including adherence to assigned schedules
- Flexibility with working schedule, including weekends, holidays, and events
- Willingness to work overtime, up to 60 hours a week, especially during the Christmas holiday season

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum qualification is 10+2 (high school diploma). Any graduate or post-graduate is eligible to apply.
